| Thanks to all Lancs & Lakes members who turned out to support Barry on the Help For Heroes run. Over 500 bikes took part in the run. The run went smoothly without any mishaps. We got slightly (slightly???) damp but good fun was had by all. A big thank you also goes to Barry who organised the marshalls. See you at the next meeting. John & Lynne |

| Lancs & Lakes are an active region within the Goldwing
Owners Club of Great Britain, drawing its members from Lancashire and adjacent
counties. If you own a Goldwing and are looking to meet up with other like-minded
bikers then why not join us. We meet at the Swallow
Hotel (click for map) on the A59 at Preston, every 2nd Sunday in the
month at 11:00 am. Our member's ride an assortment of Gold Wings including the original GL1000 machine right through to the very latest GL1800. We also cater for members who prefer to ride a Trike or even a sidecar combination. Lancs & Lakes members regularly hold weekends away at Gold Wing events called a Wing Ding and many other public events from Steam Rallies to Light Parades. We collect for our charity at most displays and wherever there is a crowd, not difficult when you have several Gold Wings parked up.On top of all this we regularly have organised runs on our Gold Wings. Most destinations are within a days ride, but we also get across to Europe for International Gold Wing Events.
